Hello 56ers!
2020 has certainly been different. As a donor to Club56, you are well aware of the challenges this year has brought to the Phantom Regiment organization.
When I joined Phantom Regiment as the Fundraising & Engagement Manager in 2017, I immediately jumped into revamping the long-standing Booster Club program. I envisioned this program as THE place for our most dedicated donors. With a rebranding, new software integrations, and increased communication, we could help our donors feel as special as they are. (Which is REALLY special!)
I’ve learned so much over the past few years about who you are, what you want to know, and what kinds of insider info helps you feel like your investment in Phantom Regiment is worthwhile.
And then 2020 threw us for a loop!
Never ones to back down from a challenge, our fundraising team has seen 2020 as an opportunity to rethink how we raise the necessary funds to continue our mission of bringing the life-changing experiences provided by Phantom Regiment to future generations of young people.
To be completely transparent: Club56 took a backseat to some more pressing efforts. (Remember when we raised over $100k during the Phan-a-Thon!)
Phan-a-Thon was amazing, and as soon as it was over we got to work on our other programs. But, there was a lot of work to do, and we wanted to do it right. So while it took a little longer than we hoped, I’m thrilled to let you know that we are BACK AT IT – with new features, new perks, and a new team member!
Today, I’m very pleased to introduce you to our new, Club56 Coordinator Missy Jenkins!
Missy is an alum of the PR Color Guard (’91-94) and has been a volunteer on the PR Board’s Development Committee. She is a rock star who saw me struggling to keep up with Club56 and said, “I can help!” Missy is proof that two heads are better than one, and has some amazing ideas to make Club56 an even stronger program in the future.
Over the next few months, you’re going to see a lot more of her as we play catch-up with Club56. For example, your 2020 badges will be coming your way in early October. And we’ve got additional announcements you’re NOT going to want to miss.
For now – take some time to familiarize yourself with this brand NEW website we created, just for you! We heard lots of questions about your perks, access to the Club56 store, and how to get engaged. So we created this web portal to make sure you are only a few clicks away from the answers.
